Project Summaries

Since 2016, Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) students have worked with clinical hosts throughout the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Clinics.  Projects were created to assess patient safety, process improvement and cost savings for a variety of units.  Through observations, surveys, and interviews the student teams summarized recommendations.  Project assessments and recommendations have led to valuable improvements towards clinical operations.
