The unit has recently undergone renovations that includes a waiting area, 11 full-service exam rooms, a phlebotomy room, a sample processing lab, a -80 freezer, an infusion center and a DXA scanner. Full time clinical support staff includes two registered research nurses, a licensed practical research nurse, as well as a phlebotomist and 2 medical assistants. The unit also offers assistance with limited clinical skills training for non-clinical research staff, tutorials on other study-related documents for investigators.
