Designed for faculty and staff engaged in clinical care delivery or its management
Johns Hopkins recognizes that a learning health system mindset is central to the care of patients and is one of 16 centers to receive funding from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to launch Promoting Embedded Research in a Learning Health System (PERLHS). This five-year P30 award allows us to offer an annual 11-month program to prepare embedded researchers to apply rigorous methods to generate new evidence from data, design and test interventions, and implement changes across the Johns Hopkins Health System.
The PERLHS scholars will commit 10% effort, with the support of their divisions or departments, to conduct mentored, embedded research supported by didactic training and experiential learning. All disciplines with health-system roles are invited to apply by April 15, 2024 to begin the program in July 2024.
