Now Accepting Applications for the Clinical Research Scholars Program (KL2)- Apply by December 1

Open to all Johns Hopkins University Full-Time Faculty Members with an appointment of 5 years or fewer.

 

The Clinical Research Scholars Program (KL2) is accepting applications for the 2022 KL2 Mentored Career Development Awards. KL2 supports the career development of faculty members dedicated toward a career in clinical investigation. This is a three year program with support provided for two years by the KL2 and one year by the nominating division/department.

The application deadline is Wednesday, December 1, 2021 by 11:59 pm.

Awards consist of:

  • Up to $110,000 in annual salary support (plus fringe) for 2 years.
  • Up to $30,000 to support the costs of a degree or training program, research related expenses, and other related activities.
  • Up to $2,500 annually for travel in support of the award objectives.

Applicants must have a research or health professional doctoral degree or equivalent and a fulltime faculty appointment in either the SOM, SPH, SOE or SON by the date of receipt of the award (Postdoctoral clinical fellows with pending appointments are eligible).  Please review the brief KL2 Application Overview and the full Request for Applications for a list of requirements and eligibility.
