ICTR Training and Career Funding Opportunities

BUILDING INTERDICIPLINARY RESEARCH CAREERS IN WOMEN’S HEALTH (BIRCWH) K12 PROGRAM
APPLICATION DEADLINE: TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2022 
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Supports the career development of full time faculty focused on research in women’s health and sex and gender differences research. Applicants must have a clinical doctorate or PhD degree, or equivalent, and a fulltime Johns Hopkins faculty appointment by the date of receipt of the award (Postdoctoral clinical fellows with pending appointments are eligible).

This two-year program provides up to $100,000 in annual salary support (plus fringe) for 2 years, up to $34,000 to support the costs research related expenses, career development, and other related activities, and an average of $2,000 annually for travel in support of the award objectives.

CLINICAL RESEARCH SCHOLARS RESEARCH PROGRAM (KL2) 
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2022
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Supports the career development of faculty members dedicated toward a career in clinical investigation by offering up to $110,000 in annual salary support and up to $30,000 towards the cost of a degree, research related expenses, travel, and/or other related activities.

PREDOCTORAL CLINICAL RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM (TL1)
APPLICATION DEADLINE: SUNDAY, JANUARY 15, 2023

Provides clinical research training during a student’s early professional development which is tailored to their degree of interest. Clinical research is evolving rapidly and requires an increasingly sophisticated knowledge base, early acquisition of advanced skills, and more collaboration among disciplines. Trainees receive funds towards tuition, health insurance, research-related travel, and a stipend.
