Clinical Trials Day
Eager Street Park | 1900 E. Eager Street
Saturday, May 11, 204 | 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Join us Saturday, May 11 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Eager Park to celebrate Clinical Trials Day, a day which commemorates James Lind’s first randomized clinical trial in 1747. The ICTR Recruitment Innovation Unit (RIU) is hosting an event, that is open to the public, to raise awareness about the significance of clinical trials, disseminate study findings, and encourage participation.
The event presents an excellent opportunity to acknowledge the hard work of researchers and participants in advancing medical knowledge and developing new treatments. All are welcome to come to the park and enjoy a day dedicated to celebrating clinical trials and Johns Hopkins’ research.
All Johns Hopkins clinical trial studies can participate in the event for free by reserving a table. Study teams are encouraged to bring materials explaining their research and any findings they’ve discovered.
