This award supports physician scientists at the Assistant Professor rank and who are conducting clinical research, including research on any disease area, health outcomes, or health services.

We recognize that clinical research conducted by people who represent the diversity of the United States population is best positioned to improve the health of all communities. We are working to continue to increase participation of researchers from groups underrepresented in biomedical research in our competition to ensure the research we support is more inclusive of the diversity of the US population. We would greatly welcome participation of all eligible physician scientists.

There will be a webinar October 5 at noon to give an overview of the 2023 CSDA competition including general information about eligibility and the process for applying. Register.
