Community-Engaged Research Symposium

Registration is now open for the Community-Engaged Research Symposium: Advancing the Science and Practice of Community-Engaged Research on Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 1 – 5:00 pm (ET). Connect with research teams to collaborate, learn new research methods, and join in spotlighting the value of community-engaged research.

The Community-Engaged Research Symposium will include:

  • Virtual Poster Exhibition: Click here to view the call for posters! Attendees are invited to submit posters showcasing any aspect of their work that highlights success and challenges of conducting community-engaged research. Posters previously presented at other meetings are welcomed.
  • Virtual Meet & Greet: Join the symposium early from Noon – 12:30 pm, ET for a virtual meet & greet with other attendees.
  • Keynote Presentation
  • Thematic Panel Presentation(s)
  • Concurrent Sessions (showcasing community-engaged research)

Symposium Hosts
The Community-led Research Coordination Center (C3) is a national coordination center funded through the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) Common Fund. The Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University serves as the home for the Coordination Center in partnership with the University of New Mexico College of Population Health and the Department of Population Health at Virginia Tech. C3 develops and shares resources relevant to building research capacity in community-based organizations to support community engaged intervention research to improve population health.
