January 6, 2021
Effective January 1, 2021, the Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Revenue Cycle will implement revised training requirements for clinical research studies that require a Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA). As a result of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Internal Audit – Clinical Trial Billing Process Audit, retraining is recommended every three (3) years for Clinical Research Billing Orientation. The required training will be tracked using the Hopkins myLearning website at http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/interactive_learning/my_learning/
- Clinical Research Billing Orientation (CRBO) is required for PIs, and for study team members who will consent participants. When a new research application is submitted in eIRB, you will be notified by Clinical Research Support Services (CRSS) if you are required to retake CRBO.
- Please contact the Research Administration, Clinical Research Support Services (CRSS) [email protected] if you have any questions about the revised training requirements.
Sincerely,
