Nominations Now Open for the Urban Health Institute 2020 Henrietta Lacks Memorial Award

The Urban Health Institute is now accepting applications for the 2020 Henrietta Lacks Memorial Award. Community-based organizations that have partnered with faculty or staff at Johns Hopkins for a minimum of two years can apply or be nominated for this $15,000 award!

We are grateful for the work community-based organizations do each day to create a healthier Baltimore and advance healthy equity for all. The Henrietta Lacks Memorial Award seeks to recognize those change agents and honor Henrietta Lacks’ legacy as a contributor to her community and health.
