Single IRB Requirement for Cooperative Research Background: Since January 25, 2018 the NIH has required use of a Single IRB (sIRB) for the review of NIH funded multisite studies where each site will conduct the same protocol involving non-exempt human subjects research. The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is rebooting its’ lecture series, “Third Thursdays with the ICTR.” Each month, speakers will share research-related news and showcase a resource and/or service that can aid clinical research study team members.
