**RFA deadline has passed.** The Biomarkers and Diagnostic Testing Community of the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is accepting applications for their Nexus Award Program. The award strives to improve the research environment and career satisfaction of faculty by providing funds to investigators engaged in biomarker or diagnostic testing discovery and evaluation, including imaging research. It is designed for investigators who wish to engage in short immersion experiences with colleagues at other academic research centers or industry partners. SOM Discovery Fund for Synergy & Innovation Awards

The Discovery Innovation Awards are designed to provide seed funding to support bold, innovative projects to enable new scientific directions and achievements of the highest quality and impact. All school of medicine faculty members are eligible for Innovation Awards of one-year funding of up to $50,000. The Center for Clinical Data Analysis (CCDA) assists the Johns Hopkins clinical research community with access to institutional data. The Translational Research Communities (TRCs), part of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) are pleased to announce the recipients of the first Nexus Awards. This intensive pilot grant program aims to bridge research gaps and help investigators advance projects and technologies along the translational pathway. These awards will be the nexus, or key facilitator, which will propel investigators forward. They span twelve months and fund up to $100,000.
