On February 20, Dale Needham, FCPA, MD, PhD hosted a webinar discussing methods to help improve participant retention rates in longitudinal follow-up studies. Dr. Needham and his team conducted 3 separate studies focused on learning best practices in the field of participant retention methods. Those studies informed the development of a free toolbox of cohort retention tools for use by researchers in the field. Details of those studies and the free cohort retention tools and resources were presented.
For those who were unable to participate, the slides and a link to the recording are posted below. You may contact Dr. Needham at improveLTO@jhmi.edu for additional information.
This webinar is part of the NIH-funded The Recruitment Innovation Center (RIC). The RIC provides evidenced based recruitment and retention methods, tools, and strategies. The RIC is a part of the larger Trial Innovation Network and is federally supported by the National Center for Advancing Transnational Sciences (NCATS), National Institutes of Health (NIH).
