NCATS launched its Biomedical Data Translator program to accelerate biomedical translation for the research community. Through Translator, NCATS will integrate multiple types of existing data sources with the intention of revealing potential relationships across the spectrum of biomedical data types from signs and symptoms of disease to molecules and cellular pathways.
NCATS currently is soliciting applications that address the architecture design needs and technical feasibility of the Translator. The Center plans to provide a total of $5 million in Fiscal Year 2016 for two to five projects with a project period of two years.
Applications are due June 1, 2016. Awards will be made by September 30, 2016.
