The ICTR is now requesting applications with a deadline for submission by 11:59 pm Friday, November 22, 2019. Any Johns Hopkins University faculty member interested in funding for a new or ongoing translational project is eligible to apply. However, awarded PIs may not apply for a new ATIP project within the twenty-four months following receipt of their initial award funds. Grants are for up to $100,000 in direct costs and may not be used for faculty salary, with the exception of Research Associate support.

The RFA will include the following items:

The abstract, readiness checklist, project schedule, biosketch, and budget are required components of the ATIP application and must be submitted on the templates provided.

PLEASE NOTE: If selected for funding, applicants whose pilots involve human subject’s research and/or vertebrate animal work must submit a document package to NCATS for final approval. The ICTR Research Navigators will provide guidance and support to teams throughout this process. Please see Appendix I: Regulatory Requirements/Approvals section of this RFA for additional information.
