2016 ATIP Application Information

The Accelerated Translational Incubator Pilot (ATIP) program is milestone-driven and provides up to $100,000 over twelve months in targeted funding. It also provides project management for faculty conducting translational research projects.
The ICTR is now requesting applications with a deadline for submission by 11:59 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2016. Any Johns Hopkins University faculty member interested in starting a translational project is eligible to apply, however awarded PIs may not apply for a new ATIP project within the twenty-four months following receipt of their initial award funds. Grants are for up to $100,000 in direct costs and may not be used for faculty salary, with the exception of Research Associate support.

- ATIP PROGRAM FAQs –containing more specific information about the program and application process
- PROJECT READINESS CHECKLIST
- PROJECT SCHEDULE TEMPLATE
- NIH FORMAT BIOSKETCH TEMPLATE
- NIH BIOSKETCH INSTRUCTIONS
The checklist and templates are required components of the ATIP application. In addition to the program faqs, applicants can access the document, ATIP Application: Development of Milestones and Program Schedules. This resource provides guidance for development of study schedules.
Please note that there are several changes and new requirements for these submissions which are highlighted within the ATIP application.
