The Predoctoral Clinical Research Training Program (TL1) provides clinical research training during a student’s early professional development which is tailored to their degree of interest. Clinical research is evolving rapidly and requires an increasingly sophisticated knowledge base, early acquisition of advanced skills, and more collaboration among disciplines. Trainees receive funds towards tuition, health insurance, research-related travel, and a stipend.
Applications must include all components and supporting documents to be considered complete. It is the applicant’s responsibility to prepare and collect each component and to monitor the status of their application. We recommended that applicants complete the recommendation section of their application early, to send request to their recommenders, and then continue to work on their application.
