There is no cost to apply, and for successful applicants, tuition, travel, and lodging are fully covered.
The course will be relevant to those conducting basic neuroscience research and would like to compete for any of the many available translational grant opportunities. It covers the principles of drug discovery and development, including the identification of a lead compound and IND enabling studies. It also considers the discovery and development of small molecule therapies and also includes considerations that apply to biological therapies, such as antibodies, antisense oligonucleotides, gene therapies and cell therapies.
