SUMMARY:Third Thursdays with the ICTR
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is hosting members of the Office of Human Subjects Research (OHSR)\, Thursday\, August 21 from 11 am- noon\, for an informative session designed to help research teams understand the requirements related to single IRB (sIRB) review of multisite research. Learn about the fundamentals of sIRB start-up and the responsibilities of the lead study team\, participating sites\, and the reviewing IRB. OHSR team members will share lessons learned from the JHM IRB experience when serving as the sIRB of record and when relying on external IRBs\, and provide practical tips for teams in navigating the sIRB review process. \nThis lecture satisfies the “in-person” training requirement for PI recertification. \nRegister via Zoom.
