Third Thursdays with the ICTR
September 21 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical & Translational Research is continuing its lecture series, “Third Thursdays with the ICTR.” Each month, speakers share research-related news and showcase a resource and/or service that can aid clinical research study team members. The next lecture is Thursday, Sept. 21 from 1 – 2 p.m. in the Wood Basic Science Building West Lecture Hall on the East Baltimore campus.
This month’s speaker is Holly Taylor, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her presentation, “ICTR Research Ethics Consultation Service” will elaborate on the goals of the Research Ethics Consultation Service – to help raise awareness of, and to assist investigators in resolving ethical issues throughout the entire research process. She will also discuss the free consults offered to all Johns Hopkins faculty, staff and students which may be requested for ethical issues arising during study development, conduct, analysis and publication.
