DESCRIPTION:View Recording  \nPlease join us for the first session of the Rare Disease Researcher Interest Group seminar series\, a Panel Discussion on Rare Disease Research\, on Friday\, October 10\, 2025\, from 12:15- 1:15 p.m. via Zoom. \nThe Rare Disease Researcher Interest Group seminar series will bring together researchers from different fields to learn about and discuss rare disease research\, regardless of experience level with rare disease research. Seminars will take place on the second Friday of each month from 12:15- 1:15 p.m. \nIn this first session\, panelists will discuss rare disease research\, resources available for rare disease research\, and other information such as ICTR resources\, the Maryland Rare Disease Advisory Council\, and the NORD recognition of Johns Hopkins and the Kennedy Krieger Institute as a Rare Disease Center of Excellence. \nPanelists include Ada Hamosh\, MD\, MPH\, Dr. Frank V. Sutland Professor\, McKusick-Nathans Institute\, Dept. of Genetic Medicine Scientific Director\, OMIM Johns Hopkins University; Constance Smith-Hicks\, MD\, PhD\, Neurologist and Research Scientist\, Kennedy Krieger Institute\, and Daniel Ford\, MD\, MPH\, David M.
