Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the importance of data ethics, data standards and interoperability in the delivery of health professions education

2. Explore the strengths and weaknesses of a possible future state of an all-encompassing learner record, utilizing Graduate Medical Education as an example.

3. Discuss the implications of increased access to clinicians’ education data on education delivery, scholarship of teaching and learning, clinical care and patient decision making.
