Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) Enabled Research Symposium
March 14, 2019 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Join us Thursday, March 14, from 3:30-5:30 pm in Tilghman Auditorium to learn about the Chesapeake Regional Information System for our Patients (CRISP) database. CRISP allows users to easily check if a consented research participant has been seen in an emergency room or been hospitalized anywhere in Maryland (and in some surrounding areas). The CRISP research initiative affords many studies and projects efficient electronic access to consented-participant records outside of the JHM environment.
Speakers will highlight studies that utilized data obtained from CRISP and will share how prospective investigators can facilitate their clinical research by using the database.
Host:
CHRISTOPHER CHUTE, MD, DrPh
Bloomberg Distinguished Professor
Director of Informatics (i2c), ICTR
