Human Participant Research Restart Advisory Committee
This committee has been meeting regularly to advise on plans to restart human participant research as the University plans a Phase 1 reopening. The committee includes representatives from the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Homewood.
Role of Committee
- Advise the Vice Dean for Clinical Investigation on the overall phased approach for reopening research with in-person interaction.
- Identify options for a safe restart for human participant research activity including processes for review of study protocols.
- Identify and coordinate guidance for staff training and personal protective equipment for clinical research teams.
