The School of Medicine Discovery Fund, which has supported 34 projects over the past 2 years, provides important resources for highly creative discovery and new opportunities for synergy and collaboration. A Symposium to celebrate the progress and accomplishments of teams supported in the first year of this program will be held on April 8 from 2-5 pm in Chevy Chase Auditorium. Nine research teams will present 10 minute abstracts on their progress to date. After the presentations conclude we will have a social hour to celebrate the Discovery Fund Pilot Program, and to provide additional opportunities to network and find partners for the next awards, which are about to be announced.
We look forward to seeing many of you there.
