The Technology Innovation Center’s accelerator program provides clinicians with the resources they need to design a software solution and start-up that addresses a challenge encountered in daily clinical practice. The Entrepreneurial Accelerator recruits members for teams that include: clinical, business, design, and technical leads.
The accelerator will launch a second cohort of teams this fall, running from late August to mid-December. Participants will meet weekly, and work with experts to dive deep into topics like team building, wire-framing, technology design, funding, pitching, and start-up creation. After 16 weeks of workshops, teams are prepared to work with the Technology Innovation Center, conduct a pilot in the clinical space, and launch their start-up.
- Application materials are due not later than June 30, 2016. (To view the clinical application you must be on the Johns Hopkins network.)
- Program participants will be notified of acceptance to the program by July 29, 2016.
- Program begins the final full week of August
