Inaugural event designed to strengthen patient and community engagement
Registration is open for NCATS Advocacy Day — Partnering with Patients for Smarter Science on June 30, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at the John Edward Porter Neuroscience Research Center, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. The goal is to inform patients and their advocates about NCATS and its programs, identify patient needs, and collectively discuss ways for enhanced patient inclusion in NCATS’ translational science activities. Admission is complimentary, but space is limited so be sure to register early.
The day will feature presentations, interactive activities and a poster session to foster open dialogue about common translational science roadblocks. Together, participants will brainstorm ideas and apply that knowledge to strengthen NCATS’ patient and community engagement.
