The ICTR's Office of Recruitment and Retention (ORR) is conducting a day-long symposium, How to Succeed in the Face of Obstacles, on April 30, 2010, at the Turner Concourse on the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine campus. This program is designed to equip investigators, study coordinators, and research staff with the strategies and tools to successfully meet the recruitment and retention goals of their studies.
Lectures and interactive small group sessions will be led by experts in the field from Tufts, Vanderbilt, Johns Hopkins, and industry. Program participants will also have the opportunity to problem-solve their own recruitment and retention issues through facilitated small group sessions.
