2017 ATIP Application Information

The Accelerated Translational Incubator Pilot (ATIP) program is milestone-driven and provides up to $100,000 over twelve months in targeted funding.  It also provides project management for faculty conducting translational research projects.

The ICTR is now requesting applications with a deadline for submission by 11:59 pm Wednesday, February 20, 2017Any Johns Hopkins University faculty member interested in starting a translational project is eligible to apply, however awarded PIs may not apply for a new ATIP project within the twenty-four months following receipt of their initial award funds.  Grants are for up to $100,000 in direct costs and may not be used for faculty salary, with the exception of Research Associate support.

PLEASE NOTE: If selected for funding, applicants whose pilots involve human subject’s research must submit a document package to NCATS for final approval. Please see the Regulatory Requirements/Approvals section of this RFA for additional information.
