The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) is debuting a new lecture series, “Third Thursdays with the ICTR.” Each month, speakers will share research-related news and showcase a resource and/or service that can aid clinical research study team members. The next lecture is Thursday, June 15 from 1– 2 p.m. in the Wood Basic Science Building West Lecture Hall.
Stacey Marks, academic program manager, and Pete Miller, ICTR Deputy Director for Clinical Research Education, Training, and Career Development, will discuss the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering Collaborative for Patient Safety, whose purpose is to bring engineering talent together with clinicians to solve patient safety issues. Additionally, speakers will provide an overall review of the Career Development and Training Division.

Directions to the Wood Basic Science Building West Lecture Hall (725 N Wolfe) : The building is tucked behind the Welch Medical Library. Enter through the Preclinical Teaching Building and follow the hallway that loops around the Greenhouse Café, and ends at the Wood Basic Science Building elevators. Take the elevator to the ground floor. Exit to the left and you’ll be in the auditorium foyer, directly in front of the West Lecture Hall
