Cancelled–Research Participant Lunch & Learn: A Tool to Recruit Diverse Older Adults

In honor of Alzheimer’s and Brain Health Awareness Month, the Research Participant Community Partnership Core of the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is hosting a lunch-and-learn workshop, “Community Engagement: A Strategy to Recruit Diverse Older Adults,” on Friday, June 17, from Noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, Carpenter Room.  All investigators and study team members are encouraged to attend.

The workshop will:

  • Introduce principles for community-engaded recruitment
  • Present a research study that used community-engaged recruitment to reach diverse participants
  • Allow attendees an opportunity to participate in a community-engaged recruitment planning session
