ICTR Connection Request

Welcome to the ICTR's Connection Request System.

You can use this system to:

  • submit requests for ICTR services
  • ask for help from any of our consultants
  • submit questions, comments, or complaints
  • apply for ICTR grant programs.

This is your one-stop shop for everything the ICTR has to offer.

Begin your connection with the ICTR by logging in now with your JHED ID.

  • Ask an ICTR Navigator

The Navigators are here to help direct investigators to the ICTR services they need and advise them on "next steps" in the clinical and translational research enterprise at Johns Hopkins. If you’re not sure where to start, click here to ask a Navigator!

  • Accelerated Translational Incubator Pilot (ATIP) Program Application [RFA]

The ATIP program is designed to provide starter funds for innovative work that specifically focuses on translating laboratory and/or clinical research into the ability to better prevent, treat, or manage disease. Funding is for up to $100,000 in direct costs (no faculty salary) over a twelve-month period. By using ATIP funding to support these translational studies in their earliest phases, the ICTR plans to promote the development of new drugs, devices, and diagnostics that will directly improve patient care.

Any faculty member at Johns Hopkins University interested in starting a translational project is eligible to apply for ATIP funding; junior faculty are particularly encouraged and will receive extra consideration. The continuance and renewal of funding is dependent upon the achievement of specific, timeline-related milestones. For more information, click here for the current RFA. To apply, click here.
