Associated Degree Programs

The Johns Hopkins Clinical Research Scholars Program believes that preparation for a career in clinical research is best served through the active participation in formal didactic coursework and training. This is available through degree programs based in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the development of specialized courses tailored to the seriously committed clinical research trainee. A Committee of clinicians and methodologists experienced in clinical research guides the development of the curriculum.

The Clinical Research Scholars Program provides an opportunity to pursue the MHS or PhD in either Clinical Epidemiology or Clinical Investigation (additionally, students may also pursue the Biostatistics MHS in conjunction with their other degree program). Each program provides basic and advanced curricula and instruction in clinical research study design, protocol development, study implementation, measurement and data collection, data analysis and manuscript preparation.
