James J. Potter

In addition to serving as Associate Program Director for Information Technology in the JHCRN, he is Director of Information Services in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Director of the Translational Research Enhancement Core of The Hopkins-Conte Digestive Disease Center. He is Associate Faculty of the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research, a member of the informatics core of the ICTR, serves on six data/informatics committees, is an investigator on the Hopkins Precision Medicine Initiative, and the faculty lead on the OpenSpecimen biospecimen committee. He has also established a 46 year career in basic, clinical and translational research.
