Research coordinators and other study personnel can visit Liz Martinez, director of the ICTR's Research Subject Advocate Program, in Carnegie 446 to pick up stickers. Liz will also be frequenting the Clinical Research Units (formerly GCRCs) to distribute stickers and will come give them directly to volunteers on request.

The program also provides free die-cast pins with the Johns Hopkins logo and the words "Outstanding Research Volunteer."

These pins may be used to recognize those volunteers who have participated in long-term studies, who have participated in multiple studies or vigorous short-term studies, or whose motivations and enthusiasm are exceptional in some way. If you are involved in study administration and have noticed a study participant who has displayed exemplary dedication to the research endeavor, please email Liz with the following information to obtain one of these attractive pins:

• name of volunteer
• reason for recognition
• name of study principal investigator
• IRB#
• your name of the contact person for the request
• your phone number (or number of contact person if different)

Liz will be happy to personally present these pins along with the study personnel if possible.
