The ORR is tasked to facilitate all aspects of recruitment and retention of study participants for JHMI researchers, and focuses on promoting useful and effective strategies.

To accomplish this, the ORR will encourage careful assessment of study participant needs, developing complete recruitment plans, and identifying strategies to fulfill these plans successfully. This includes strategies targeted at general populations and specific sub-populations, and both recruitment and retention activities. The ORR activities are intended to promote completion of high quality research and to lead to translation of research results to medical strategies designed to improve the health of populations.
